Mode Change! Dragren! is the sixteenth episode of the B-Daman Fireblast season. It first aired in two parts on May 5, 2013 and May 12, 2013 in Japan.
Plot

Road Fight has returned to the Southern Area!? Kamon, who heard these rumours, began investigating with Riki. Meanwhile, to assist with the Road Fight problem, the WBMA send out a new B-Der to Crest Land in the form of Hugo Raidoh. However, he ends up competing in Road Fights instead of stopping them, weilding his heraldic "Jet=Leohjya". Kamon, as Southern B-Master, declares he is not allowed to Road Fight. As a result, a battle breaks out between Kamon and Riki VS Basara and Hugo. During this, as B-Master of the West, Byakuga begins spreading Cross Fight in West Crest Land. The Northern B-Master and close friend of Byakuga, Genta, shows up and tries to convince him to return to Ryoma, but Byakuga decides they should take their own paths. And so, the confrontation of friends begins!

- Byakuga is revealed to have come from a rich background, and saved from the streets by Ryoma.
- Byakuga regains his memories and his sealed heart due to the White Tiger Tablet.
- Byakuga forms an alliance with Kamon, defecting from the dark side.
- Genta Ankokuji is revealed to be the Northern B-Master, as well as Byakuga's best friend.
- Hugo arrives in Crest Land.
- Basara is revealed to be hosting a Road Fight Rally, focusing on collecting stamps.
- Kamon and Riki Road Fight against Basara and Hugo and lose.
- Byakuga Road Fights Genta and loses.
- Genta's Father is revealed to be the CEO of the Shiranui Corporation.
- Agent Chaos is revealed to no longer be brainwashed, and now living a normal life.
