Bakuga Shira (Japanese: Byakuga Shiranui) is a former antagonist appearing in B-Daman Fireblast. His B-Daman is no less than the White Tiger of the West, Kreis Raydra. He is the B-Master of the Western Area of Crestland, and the hated arch-rival of Ken Ogami.

Appearance

Bakuga is a tall young man with blonde hair and gray eyes. He wears a grey vest with light purple accents over a light blue shirt. The sleeves are rolled up, he also wears beige colored pants and a pair dark red shoes. His face always seems serious and he rarely smiles.

Personality

Bakuga is cool-headed, quiet, and reserved of himself. According to Samuru, he's too confident, thus making him quite scary. Prior to becoming the Western B-Master, he was snobbish, and was friends with Jenta Kokuji.

Biography

Bakuga is the Western B-Master of Crestland along with his B-daman Kreis Raydra.

He's the best friend of the Southern B-Master, Jenta and his B-daman, Dashing Tankshell.

He become the CEO of the Shiranui Corporation in the last episode ,along with Jenta as his assistant.

Background

Before becoming a B-Master, he was the heir of Crestland's prominent Shiranui Corporation, and held a friendship with someone who would become the Northern B-Master; Jenta. However, he and his father was targeted by Jenta's Father, and ended up getting cast out. He was taken off the streets one fateful stormy day by none other than the Grand B-Master, Ryoma Godai himself. After becoming the Western B-Master, he had his memories taken away from him and his heart sealed by Ryoma, to ensure his loyalty. As the Western B-Master of Crestland, Bakuga is highly feared and respected by both his fellow B-Shots and the Master Guardians, due to his incomparable power, lightning-fast reflexes, and pin-point accuracy in battle. At one point, he has dealt a devastating defeat to Ken Ogami in a Road Fight challenge of an unspecified nature.

Trivia

• Oddly enough, an image file of Byakuga from the official website for the anime suggests that his name is "Byaliga", resulting from a misunderstanding of how his name is formed.
• Byakuga's name comes from Byakko, the Japanese name for the White Tiger of the West, one of the five Heavenly Beasts of the Wu Xing, and Shiranui means "phosphorescent light" in Japanese.
  • He can be considered to be B-Daman-counterpart of Ray Kon from Beyblade Original series.
• He also similar with Tsubasa Otori from Beyblade Metal Fusion, due to the fact both are young CEO.
• His dubbed name, Bakuga is similar to Bakugan, a creature from another anime series.
• Bakuga shares the same English voice actor with Kamui Katsuragi from Cardfight!! Vanguard series.
