The Battle Magazine (Japanese: バトルマガジン, Batorumagajin) is the second DHB Exclusive-Use Custom Part released in the DHB & Limited Model series. It is the basic magazine custom part for the DHB system, and is the first Rapid-Fire-oriented part released.
As it uses the standard DHB System magazine attachment system, it is also usable by the later DHB Armor, DHB Core, DHB Advance Core, and Zero Adapter.
Overview[]
The Battle Magazine is an L-shaped magazine that attaches to either of the two magazine ports on a DHB System Core, and is matched with a stopper piece intended to attach to the other port in order to prevent loaded marbles from rolling out the other side instead of entering the core's internal magazine.
With the Battle Magazine equipped, a standard DHB Core's capacity rises to nine marbles. A fully loaded magazine results in a substantial weight towards the rear, and B-Daman with less heel stability may fall over backwards while those equipped with feet with longer heels will remain stable.
The stopper piece also features an outward-facing hardpoint compatible with DHB System rivets, intended to be used to attach one of the grips from the Battle Grip.
Due to the symmetry of the loading ports on DHB System cores, the Battle Magazine and its matching stopper may be equipped on either the left or the right side. Additionally, by acquiring more than one P-02 set it is possible to equip a magazine on both loading ports at once, rather than using a stopper. However, fully loading this two-magazine configuration would result in a very back-heavy B-Daman. It would also be possible to equip stoppers on both loading ports, which would allow for a symmetrical wide grip if both stoppers were equipped with Battle Grips. Doing this would completely prevent reloading, making it useful only in events where B-Daman are pre-loaded and no reloading is allowed.

Trivia[]
- No stickers were included with the Battle Magazine, making it one of the very few B-Daman releases to be entirely bare plastic with no additional decorations when assembled.
- The funnel-shaped top section of the Battle Magazine is held on with DHB rivets, and can be freely removed. It is compatible with the same short magazine extension used by the Wide Server, and as a result it is possible to create a "short magazine" by combining the funnel with the short magazine extension. This short magazine configuration was never released alone. By the same token, it is also possible to attach the wide server's top server section to the Battle Magazine's long magazine extension, creating a long-magazine wide server that has a very high capacity but is extremely top-heavy and unstable when fully loaded.
- Due to the existence of various adapters, it is possible to equip the Battle Magazine without modification, in some configuration, to B-Daman from series as much later from the DHB Series as the Crash SWS series via the sequential use of multiple adapters.
