A Hold Dial (Japanese: ホールドダイヤル, hōrudodaiyaru) is a gimmick in which a B-Daman's Hold Parts (along with a rubber strip or a roller) are located on a rotatable dial, to give the B-Shot a choice of four different firing modes to work with. The Hold Dials can be adjusted for drive, back-spin, or curving shots.
