  • Hey Alex, I'm trying to add a picture to this article's infobox but for some reason it's not displaying. Maybe I'm just too tired and doing something wrong, but can you take a look at it?

    • Maybe the image is too wide

    • Do you know what the image size limits are here on the Wiki?

    • I fixed it.

B-Daman Wiki has no image size limits. The height and width values are equal to any number put for the image size. Technically speaking, you could make the file 1000x1000px. Generally however, we would prefer all of our images on infoboxes and templates to be 250px.

    • What had I done wrong? Because I had written it the same as you have on the article, it's just a different image there now? o__0

    • I edited it in the Visual editor instead of Soutce mode. The image is very much the same - I renamed it - our file names should be as clear and informative as possible like "CoreRandomBoosterPlus.jpg".

    • Grrr I hate the Visual editor, it lags so badly on my computer :/ And it does weird things sometimes (probably because I don't know how to use it properly and I'm too old to approve of change :P)

    • It might have been a wiki error. I use Source mode whenever I can - it's so comfortable using it.

What editor do you use, JustAlex93 and Bluesonic1?

    • I used the source editor, and it you know what? It may be a glitch or an error as you suggested

    • Source editor all the way :) I can't stand the Visual editor, and I'm not a big fan of Classical in general. It kinda reminds me of using Microsoft Word, where you insert a picture and it screws up your whole document. When you're in Source mode, stuff like that doesn't happen. You have full control over the look and formatting of the article at all times. I also find it more comfortable as I code often in HTML, CSS and on forums UBBC, so it's also what feels most natural to me :P Even writing comments like now, I usually use source mode (also because then my browser's spell check works hehe).

    • I've actually also have had the problem where I can't add pictures though I just give up after a few tries.

    • See, I give up AND come running to Alex for help :P
